My recent stay at a charming country hotel close to Rothenburg was delightful. The spacious and comfortable room, along with the friendly and welcoming staff, made me feel right at home. The picturesque setting and delicious food, including the homemade beer, added to the overall enjoyable experience. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the cool breeze from open windows kept the room comfortable. Although the village itself was small, it provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently located near the famous town of Rothenburg. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Rooms are old and small - not very comfortable. Okay for 1 night but not for longer stays.

Spent Easter weekend at this cozy hotel and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food at the restaurant was incredible, especially the local beer. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby countryside, with lovely walks and cycling routes. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make my stay enjoyable.
The Wi-Fi was unreliable in some areas of the hotel, which could be inconvenient for some guests. there was some noise from heavy lorries early in the morning on the nearby road, but this is a minor issue compared to all the positives.

Food was excellent. Also, they brew their own beer which was excellent.

Very nice hotel, clean room and bathroom, excellent staff, very good food. Two other nice things: free parking and free WiFi. Across the street there is a very nice display of model trains (Gotthard line), definetely worthy of a visit. The hotel is also not far from Rothenburg (if you are by car).
Minor thing: there was no chicken on the menu at the restaurant.

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, nestled in a charming little village with plenty to see and do in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bathrooms were updated and modern. The breakfast was also fantastic and filled us up for the day ahead.
All in all, we had a faultless stay at this hotel.

Located in a quiet area in the countryside but still close to the Romantic Road and a Christmas market. the room was decent, with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. don't get too excited about the amenities as there wasn't even a coffee maker in the room. the breakfast was average, with a limited selection of food. the staff was helpful but not exceptional. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not the place for you. With that being said, the hotel did have a nice little brewery and restaurant that serves good food and beer.
The noise level in the room was unacceptable due to the hotel being situated on a main road. the sound of traffic was constant and made it difficult to sleep, even with earplugs.

The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the big town. Rooms are comfortable and staff is kind and helpful. the restaurant offers delicious food and beer, and breakfast is also good. They have a lift for those who need it.
We found several ticks in our room, probably from the pet of the previous guests. our room was located next to the main road, and the traffic noise was so loud it kept us awake most of the night.
